Consumer Technology Association (CES) 2018
The Consumer Technology Association CES 2018 took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 9-12. Asus and ROG presented various new technologies that will be available for sale this year.
ROG first revealed a huge 65” TV screen. The ROG Swift PG65 Big Format was made for gaming and embeds a 4K panel up to 120Hz with HDR. It also has an NVIDIA SHIELD built in it.

They also presented their new mechanical keyboard, the Strix Flare. It contains its own software, Armoury II, within the driver.
Asus introduced 2 new monitors; the first one is the ZenScreen Go MB16AP and is portable. It is powered with a 7,800mAh battery and will allow you to work on with a dual-monitor setup without an outlet to plug it in. The second one is a professional monitor, the ProArt PQ22UC, and embeds a 21.6” 4K OLED panel.
The Lyra Voice is a router that packs all the power of the tri-band AC2200 Lyra Hub with Amazon Alexa. The product that avoids having another speaker to stream music won the CES 2018 Innovation Award. The Lyra Trio is also a router that was created to add more nodes to your house.

The ZenFone Max Plus was presented as an affordable phone that still contains notable specs, such as a 4130mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, a dual camera, a 5.7” full view display in a sleek metal body. It’s available in 3 different colors (silver, gold and deepsea black) at $229.

Some others products were announced such as a new Ultrabooks and AiOs that are powered by Intel’s 8th generation processors, the ROG Strix GL12 new gaming desktop, the ROG GT51-PVA with an Intel Core i9 CPU and a bezel-free kit that makes multi-monitors setups seem seamless.
