Asus GeForce RTX 3080: The most advanced cooling yet
Asus is world renowned for the cooling capabilities of their devices. As any gamer knows, the secret is to stay cool. Gaming sessions can last hours and cause the internal components of a computer to become very hot; Without an advanced cooling system, this heat can seriously damage or even destroy these components. Even mild overheating can cause the performance of a computer to decline, preventing you from playing your best game.
For many years, gamers have trusted Asus to have the most advanced cooling systems on the market, and Asus has done an outstanding job of constantly improving and evolving their cooling technology. Asus ROG recently released the new, ROG Strix LC RTX3080Ti-12G Gaming-series graphics cards, the first ever to feature hybrid cooling systems.
Power is an important aspect of any graphics card, and Asus ensured these cards can deliver 450W of power thanks to a specially printed circuit board. Another pertinent feature is storage. Without sufficient VRAM (video random access memory), high performance games would struggle on your computer, which is why the RTX 3080 series comes with 12GB of GDDR6X memory. An even larger heatsink allows heat to be rapidly dispersed. On top of these amazing features, the iconic Axial-tech Fan design has been upgraded, not only with more blades, but also a reversed rotational direction for the center fan for optimal cooling.
These new graphics cards are winning over the gaming community, as evident by the numerous awards they have received such as Editor’s Choice 2021 from the Hardware Zone and TweakTown, as well as the 2021 RedDot award for product design.
