Asus’s new device, the B250 Mining Expert Motherboard, is the future of cryptomining. It is the world’s first 19-slot mining motherboard, giving users the unprecedented ability to have 19 NVIDIA or AMD GPUs running at once thanks to its 18 PCLe X1 and 1 PCLe X16 slots. Made to provide perfect power delivery and reduce wiring complexity, each of the three separated zones powering the PCLes have dedicated 24-pin ATX12V power connectors to ensure they’re consistently receiving the power they need. This is coupled with 19 decoupling capacitors for voltage-stabilization to supply “low-noise” power designed for 24/7 mining.
The B250’s built-in softwares are also some of its greatest assets, immediately distinguishing it from its competitors. The PCLe’s slot state detection will give the user each slot’s status the moment the system is turned on. The mining mode BIOS optimization is enabled by default, allowing users to skip the hassle of BIOS level changes while already being set for performance and stability.
