What are the Asus ProArtist Awards?
Asus has always been at the forefront of sustainability, especially considering all their devices are repairable! In light of this mission - the ASUS ProArtist Awards is an art competition that celebrates creativity in photography, graphic design, film, and animation for a sustainable future. The theme for the 2023 competition is "Seeing An Incredible Future," which reflects the company's environmental hopes and aspirations. The competition is free to enter and open for submissions from April 15th to July 15th, 2023. That’s in just a few days, so get your submissions in ASAP! The winners will be announced on August 5th, 2023. The prizes for each category winner are a US$10,000 cash prize and an opportunity to be part of an exciting ASUS global design project: the demo artwork for ASUS Spatial Vision technology. There will be a winner and runner up for each category as well as a special category! The competition is open to all individuals who are at least 18 years old and who are not employees of Asus. The artwork submitted must be original and unique and created within the past year, which makes it a very exciting competition! As for the judges, the winners of the awards are selected by a diverse panel, which includes invited judges and the ASUS ProArt team. Pantone Special Award
Asus has announced a Pantone Special Award which is an exclusive prize that will be awarded to one winner in each category who demonstrates the best color harmony and story in their artwork. To be eligible for the Pantone award, an artist must utilize the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 – Viva Magenta 18-1750 in their creation. This award is in honor of Asus and Pantone’s partnership over the years. This exclusive partnership involves Pantone validating the color accuracy of Asus products, such as monitors like the ASUS ProArt PA32UCX and many Asus laptops such as the VivoBook Pro 14 OLED. The Pantone validation ensures that the colors displayed on the Asus devices are accurate and consistent with the Pantone color system, which is widely used in various industries such as graphics, fashion, and packaging. When an artist uses a Pantone validated device, they can be confident that the colors they see on the screen or printout will be the same as the colors they specified in their design.
