This past week, our company had the unique opportunity to visit Taipei and actually attend Computex 2023 in person!! Computex 2023 is one of the biggest trade shows of the year for the laptop and PC space. This year, the event was held from May 29 through June 2, and it was a "return to normal" event, with every major player attending the event. Asus, one of the world's biggest tech manufacturers, showcased its latest innovations, including new laptops, monitors, graphics cards, and more. In this article, we will take a closer look at Asus's presence at Computex 2023 and the products and innovations the company unveiled. Asus showcased a range of exciting new products and innovations, demonstrating the company's relentless pursuit of incredible experiences. Some highlights include a complete lineup of thin-and-light laptops, including the new ZenBook Pro Duo 16 OLED, which features a 16-inch OLED display and an Intel Core i9 processor. Also unveiled was the new Asus ROG Zephyrus S GX703 is a gaming laptop with a 17.3-inch display and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 GPU. Exciting look at ROG Saga
ROG SAGA is a visual universe that's an extension of ROG's core philosophy. It's a collection of artworks, animations, character stories, and lore that reflects the company's voice in the world. The visual universe is designed to immerse gamers in a world that's inspired by ROG's products and the gaming lifestyle. ROG SAGA is a way for ROG to connect with its customers and create a community around its brand. It is featured on ROG's website, social media channels, and in its marketing materials. ROG SAGA is also used in ROG's product designs, with characters and themes from the visual universe appearing on ROG's products. The characters got a formal introduction at Computex 2023 through the ROG’s film, RE:SET. In this 6 minute and 40 second animated video we see an adventure unfold with Horseman, Se7en, Omni, Akira, Acht, Go and PKD in a wild cyberpunk world. Asus Ozone Water Sanitizer
At this year’s Computex, we also had the opportunity to see first hand the incredible Ozone Water Sanitizer OW100 from Asus. The Asus Ozone Water Sanitizer is a device that generates ozone to provide users with ozone water right out of the tap. It is a quick, low-cost, and eco-friendly way to disinfect water. In an ozone water sanitizer, ozone gas is generated and injected into water. Ozone molecules are highly reactive and quickly react with organic compounds and microorganisms, breaking down their cell walls and destroying their cellular structure. This process helps to eliminate pathogens, odors, and other contaminants present in the water. The ozone is generated onsite, which reduces the safety problems associated with shipping and handling. The effectiveness of ozone disinfection treatment of both water and air has been confirmed by studies, making it an alternative sanitizing technology to common conventional disinfectants. Ozone can be used to purify water for drinking, kill bacteria on surfaces, clean food, and fight airborne contaminants.

This year, we were lucky enough to see how Asus made sustainability a priority at Computex 2023, with trailblazing sustainability achievements on display. For example, the company introduced a new range of laptops made from recycled materials. Additionally, Asus introduced the world's first carbon footprint and carbon partner services at Computex 2023. This initiative is designed to help commercial customers offset carbon emissions associated with Asus products. The concept behind these services is to allow businesses to compensate for their environmental impact by purchasing nature-based carbon credits. The carbon partner services are part of Asus's efforts to decrease its environmental impact and expand its range of eco-friendly products. The initiative is led by the ExpertBook B9 OLED and B5 OLED, which are carbon-neutral business laptops. The carbon partner services are a significant step forward in Asus's sustainability efforts, and they demonstrate the company's commitment to reducing its environmental impact. This is in addition to Asus’s constant efforts to ensure customers are able to keep their devices as long as possible and repair them, rather than having to buy a new one.
